PS-04

Combined surveillance device PS-04 is a multi-functional individual optical-electronic device of the binocular type, designed for reconnaissance, observation and issuing of target designation during the day and night time of the day and under any weather conditions. The PS-04 device is specially designed for advanced reconnaissance units of special operations forces, artillery and aviation gunners. According to the NATO classification, it belongs to the commander's target locator (target locator).

Key advantages of PS-04: 

- the only domestic commander's target locator, which combines high tactical and technical characteristics, small weight and dimensions parameters and the widest possible functionality;

- passive detection and recognition of objects during the day and at night with uncooled thermal imaging and daytime color digital channels;

- determining the distance to objects with an eye-safe laser rangefinder;

- invisible illumination of targets with an infrared laser marker;

- determination of angular coordinates (azimuth and elevation angle) of objects;

- determining the coordinates of objects thanks to the combined use of a range finder, a compass and a GNSS receiver, including in the hidden triangulation mode.

During 2022-2024, 15 sets were delivered to the Armed Forces.
